With this perspective, the 2025 Sustainability Report highlights structured initiatives that connect decarbonization, circularity, resource efficiency, and sustainable innovation.

Circular Economy and Waste Management
Chemyunion reached an important milestone in its environmental journey by achieving Zero Waste to Landfill, ensuring that 100% of the waste generated was directed to environmentally appropriate destinations.
In addition:
- 320.56 metric tons of waste directed toward circularity
- 46.79% of waste sent for recycling
- Expansion of composting and internal reuse initiatives
Energy and Decarbonization
The Company continued its strategy to reduce carbon intensity through the use of electricity from certified renewable sources and the gradual expansion of on-site renewable energy generation.
Initiatives focused on operational efficiency and the modernization of industrial processes were also expanded.
Environmental Conservation and Nature-Based Solutions
The protection and restoration of ecosystems remain an integral part of Chemyunion’s climate strategy.
Key highlights include:
- Annual carbon capture potential of 2,341.82 tC in preserved areas
- Continuation of the Meu Pequi Project, promoting ecological restoration and environmental education
- Production and distribution of seedlings to support biodiversity
Social Impact and Sustainable Development
Chemyunion’s ESG agenda also encompasses social initiatives focused on education, community engagement, and strengthening a culture of sustainability.
In 2025, more than BRL 35,000 was invested in social projects, expanding the reach and impact of initiatives within local communities.
